There is no day I do not think about the children in Fukushima and other parts of Japan (especially because I work with children here, and I am translating something that has to do with them now).
I found a great video that speaks loudly and clearly without any word, so I'd like to share.
It is short and "sweet," too. (The topic itself is not sweet, but how this was done is sweet.)
This was created by a Japanese student, Shoko Hara who is residing in Germany. This work received an international award. Shoko was born in Okayama in 1988 and moved to Germany in 1998.
Unfortunately, Japanese media has not mentioned her great work.
"Abita", animated short film about Fukushima children who can't play outside because of the radioactivity. About their dreams and realities.
