This year, due to my limited time and the fact that we're learning a simpler choreography than the ones we learned in the past years, I'm holding classes only for 8 weeks instead of 16 weeks.
Wonderful and fun friends have gathered.
There are people returning as well as some who try Izanai Yosakoi for the first time. Also, there are people who have never even danced before. It is always a great honor when people courageously give it a try.
We (not all of us but those who wish so) will be performing this dance at the 20th Honolulu Festival on March 8th and 9th.
Our dance team, Suga Yosakoi Ren has been participating this festival from the very 1st time without missing a year. I don't know how many times I've danced there... more than 10 times for sure.
I look forward to experiencing it again and making new memories this year.

このように、今年もイザナイよさこいクラスが始まりましたよ〜。
今年はスケジュールの関係上、また振り付けも例年よりはシンプルなものを学んでいるので、４ヶ月の代わりに２ヶ月だけの期間限定クラスです。
今年も愉快な仲間達が集まってくれました。
リピーターの方々も、今年初めてよさこいを踊られるという方もいます。 中には踊り自体が初めてという方もいらっしゃいます。そんな方々が「やってみよう」と思われたということ、ありがたいですね〜。
みんながみんなというわけではありませんが、希望される方はホノルルで毎年3月に行われる、ホノルルフェスティバルで踊ります。今年は3月8日と9日です。
私たちのよさこい連、須賀よさこい連は何と、ホノルルフェステバル開催の第一回から毎年休み無く参加し続けてきました。今年で20回目の参加です。私個人的には、何度このお祭りで踊ったのでしょう？定かではありませんが、10回以上は踊らせて頂きましたね。
また今年も新たな思い出を作りに踊りに行くのが楽しみです！
