EN & JP - Vday Maui - One Billion Rising ヴィーデイマウイ 一億人が立ち上がる

I was asked to dance Yosakoi, a Japanese dance on Saturday, 2/15 at the V-day Maui. V-day events were held all over the world, and this was Maui's. Therefore, it is written, "One Billing Rising."

It was a benefit event for Women Helping Women & A Global Movement to End Violence Against Women and Girls. I was honored to be invited to dance for such cause.

2月15日（土）に、ヴィーデイマウイというイベントでよさこいを踊ってくださいとの依頼がありました。世界中でヴィーデイのイベントが行われているようで、これはマウイでのものでした。（だから「一億人が立ち上がる」と書かれているのですね。）

ウィーメン・ヘルピング・ウィーメンという、家庭内暴力を受けている女性を助ける団体と、女性や若い女の子達に対する暴力に終止符を打とうと働きかけている団体のための、慈善イベントでした。そういう目的のためのイベントで踊れて光栄でした。
