On February 12th, our 2nd graders had a field trip to the Kanaha Pond in Kahului and to the Maui Arts & Cultural Center (to listen to a classical music played by the Hawaii Youth Symphony).
2月12日に、2年生は遠足がありました。
カフルイにあるカナハポンド（沼地）とマウイアーツ＆カルチュラルセンターへ、ハワイ・ユース・シンフォニーの奏でるクラシック音楽を聴きに。
It was a perfect weather. The Island of Maui was made of two volcanoes. Therefore, it's called the valley island. Where the two connected, wet lands exist. Various birds fly there from various places on the earth. We wished that this beautiful view would not be changed.
とってもお天気の良い日でした。マウイは二つの火山がくっついて出来た島。（なのでヴァリーアイランド／谷の島と呼ばれています。）そのくっついた部分がこのように沼地になっています。色々な鳥たちが色々なところからやってきます。この美しい姿がこれから先も変わりませんように。
